A CHRISTMAS STAR QUILT

I know , Christmas is just over, but you might want to start this quilt now in order to have it done by next Christmas. It makes a lovely Christmas statement over the back of the sofa or over a railing, which is where I hang it every Christmas.
It is a basic log cabin so it is not difficult. I used white, red and green sparkly Christmas fabric but as a variation if you only used the red and white it would look like a poinsettia. Find nice Christmas fabric on sale now! Try to get fabric that does not have a overly obvious pattern.
Finished quilt size is approximately 61 1/2" x 61 1/2".
Also to bind my quilt I chose to use red cording instead of a regular binding. Also at each corner I fastened a red tassel. This isn't a quilt I intend to use as a blanket.
